LTE Young Enterprise Day

LTE Young Enterprise Day
Thirty Year 5 children from across the Learning Trust for Excellence schools took part in a maths challenge day at King Edward VI Handsworth School for Girls. Pupils engaged in the Young Enterprise Programme exploring: import and export; essential skills of business; the 4Ps of marketing; co-operation and negotiation.

The children were a credit to our schools. Jane Glendenning, Assistant Head at King Edward VI Handsworth School for Girls summed up the day. “We were greatly impressed with the skills these year 5 children showed.  They were enthusiastic and eager to get stuck in to the problem and come up with unique solutions.  The hall was literally buzzing with their energy. They were so well behaved and engaged and there are definitely some future Karen Brady’s and Alan Sugar's amongst them, I'm sure”
