The brief for the sessions was to develop gaming through the use of Scratch. The children initially worked on recreating a game with set parameters such as timers, levels and scoring systems, then they progressed to developing their own games which were superb! It was fantastic to see how, in such a short space of time, they progressed with their skills and created really imaginative games for all to play. This project will now continue within school, where the children will teach what they have learnt to their peers, with the continuing support of King Edwards. We look forward to seeing more superb games and maybe it will even inspire games developers of the future! Our thanks to King Edwards for their help with the project.
