Why is this course relevant or important?
Greater depth is, for many schools, the next step in curriculum and teaching development. The expectation that a proportion of pupils reach a greater depth of understanding is growing and the teacher assessment frameworks are not always sufficiently clear to help teachers understand what is required. Whereas there are many resources available for mathematics, little attention is paid to reading, writing and the foundation subjects. This course will provide many examples from all subjects.
