The Learning Trust for Excellence (LTE) comprises seven forward thinking schools based in Sutton Coldfield: Coppice, Four Oaks, Langley, Little Sutton, Hollyfield, Moor Hall, Whitehouse Common and their partners Birmingham City University (BCU), King Edwards Schools, Rotary, University College Birimingham (UCB), Beaufort School and Bishop Vesey's Grammar School.

Having worked well together in the past, the collaboration was formally established with a view to inspiring excellence and furthering opportunity for all.
 
The Trust schools are maintained schools supported by a charitable foundation. They were required to change from community to foundation. By forming a Co-operative Trust each school retains it’s individual autonomy and Governing Body whilst at the same time offering exciting opportunities for it’s pupils, staff and wider community created through the power of collaboration.
