School Support
In addition to the expertise of very experienced Headteachers, within the Trust there are National Leaders in Education (NLE), Local Leaders of Education (LLE), Ofsted trained inspectors, National Leaders of Governance, as well as expertise in Special Educational Needs. One of the Trust schools is also part of a Federation bringing specific knowledge in the relevant governance and management arrangements.
Improving teaching, learning & outcomes
The Learning Trust for Excellence (LTE) can provide schools in need of support with outstanding leaders, teachers and school practitioners, experts in their respective fields who can use their skills and experience to work with others to improve teaching, learning and outcomes.
The LTE has a proven track record of supporting other schools, and has the capacity to work alongside headteachers, leaders and practitioners to drive forward improvements and build capacity to ensure that improvements can be sustained.

CREATING A BESPOKE SUPPORT PROGRAMME FOR YOUR SCHOOL
The LTE support for schools is tailored to the need of the individual schools. In order to understand the circumstances and needs of the school a 2 Day Review will be undertaken by LTE Leaders, trained by Ofsted Inspectors.
The Review involves:
- Thorough analysis of data
- Lesson observations
- Book trawls
- Learning walks
- Interviews with staff and children
- Policy review
Findings are presented in a report which identifies specific actions and interventions required in order to drive school improvement.
The LTE and the school requiring support will work together to develop an Action Plan based on specific and focused support available from within the LTE which will impact on standards. This will include success criteria linked to pupil performance, costs and timescales in order that expectations of both parties are clear. An LTE Headteacher will be assigned to review progress and quality assurance of the school support programme.
School support is priced per school, based on a daily support rate.
